Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)
This certification course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to be a professional rescuer, including: adult, child, and infant CPR, rescue breathing, and how to use an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).
Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) – Online
Prepare for success in an administrative role within the healthcare industry. The CMAA program covers background information on the profession and the industry as well as legal and ethical issues, medical terminology, basic health insurance, practice management and an introduction to medical coding. Upon successful program completion, you’ll be prepared to sit for the CMAA exam.
Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Program
From courses like Medical Terminology & Body Systems to Electronic Health Record, you’ll learn the language used in medical professions, how to navigate complex healthcare systems, and so much more in this 6 course program.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): NYSED Certification
The increase in longevity and recent changes in the healthcare system have created an increased need for educated and skilled nursing assistants. Meet this need by becoming a CNA — a profession ideal for people seeking flexible hours working in nursing homes, hospitals, doctors’ offices and healthcare facilities. The program includes anatomy and physiology, fundamentals of patient care, and clinical experience in a residential healthcare facility.
Clinical Medical Assistant
The Clinical Medical Assisting program will prepare you for a professional career in multiple healthcare settings. Medical assistants with a clinical background perform various clinical tasks including assisting with the administration of medications and with minor procedures, performing an EKG electrocardiogram, educating patients, and more. You’ll learn to successfully assist physicians by performing functions related to the clinical aspects of a medical office.
Computer Readiness: Word, Powerpoint, Excel
In this computer readiness program, you’ll learn how to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Applicable to all participants requiring digital literacy and computer skills, this course is an intense hands-on workshop intended to sharpen your software skill-set.
Dental Assistant
This program will prepare you for entry-level positions as a chair-side dental assistant. From the history of dentistry, to introduction to tooth structure, and more — you’ll learn all areas of administrative and clinical dental assisting and focus on the responsibilities required to function as an assistant in a dental practice.
Dialysis Technician
As kidney failure continues to be a growing national health problem, kidney disease is driving the growing demand for well-trained dialysis technicians. Under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses, dialysis technicians operate kidney dialysis machines, prepare dialyzer reprocessing and delivery systems, and more. In this program, you’ll learn how to perform these duties and be successful in this position.
Driver Training & Traffic Safety – Online
Recommended for fleet safety supervisors, this course meets the technical requirements of the NYS DMV for future or present driving school instructors. You’ll learn the principles of defensive driving, behind-the-wheel instructional techniques, and traffic rules and regulations.
Driving Instructor Licensing Classroom Teaching Techniques
This course offers guidelines, instructional techniques, and actual demonstrations of effective teaching procedures designed to help driving instructors attain a higher level of professional skill in presenting the DMV’s pre-licensing course.
EKG Technician
Similar to other growing healthcare professions, the demand for EKG technicians is expected to continue to grow substantially. This program covers topics and processes critical to conducting and interpreting electrocardiograms (EKGs). From learning the anatomy and physiology of the heart to discovering the details of a myocardial infarction — you’ll be prepared to successfully perform the role of an EKG technician.
Emergency Room Technician Program
ER Techs assist MDs and RNs with multiple tasks, including performing Phlebotomy and IV stats, transporting patients to other departments, obtaining lab specimens, and more. Registrants must have current AHA/BLS certification before beginning this program and upon completion of the program.
EMT Certification
This course covers all techniques and operational aspects of an EMT. Demonstration, practice, and clinical observation are integrated with free online FEMA classes. Certifications are provided by the NYS Bureau of EMS.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Whether you’re brand new to the world of English or looking to advance your skills, our six levels of courses — including our unique Port of Entry (POE) program for international students (F1 visa holders) and new immigrants — will meet you where you are and take you where you want to go.
Infection Control Techniques – Online
Required In healthcare practice for RNs, LPNs, MDs, and PAs, this course meets NYS-mandated training for renewing healthcare licenses. It is also approved by the NYS Department of Education and covers Department of Health policy on H.I.V. and Hepatitis B. as well as Board of Regents and Department of Health regulations on professional conduct.
Music Production Certificate Program
The Music Production Certificate program is an innovative program integrating music production and recording studio training that will prepare you for jobs in the music and recording industries. In this comprehensive 10-week course, you will learn practical skills in music production, mixing, sound design and more using the most up-to-date and relevant industry-standard software.
Patient Care Technician Program
Patient Care Technicians are multi-disciplinary technical workers trained to provide basic nursing assistant care as well as other skilled functions. The program includes six core courses: CPR-Basic Cardiac Life Support, Medical Terminology & Body Systems, EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, and Certified Nursing Assistant. After completing the program, you’ll be qualified to take the certification exam from the NHA and become a Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT).
Phlebotomy Technician – Hybrid
Obtain the introductory skills to secure an entry-level phlebotomist position. You’ll learn various methods of blood collection through venipuncture, capillary puncture, and existing intravascular devices. This program emphasizes the use of anticoagulants, the order of draw, and procedures for obtaining and processing specimens.
AWS Cloud Computing Program
Our Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing program enables participants to earn up to six AWS Certifications, including the AWS Cloud Computing Fundamentals, the AWS Solutions Architect Certification, the AWS Developer Associate Certification, the AWS SysOps Administrator Associate Certification, the AWS Specialization in Big Data, and the AWS Specialization in Machine Learning Certifications.
Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA)
This training program is offered to qualified students and consists of over 90 hours of training, including a non-credit CRPA Certification Workshop and a three-credit Addictions and Dependencies course.
Software Engineering Micro-Credential Career Track in Web Development
This intensive bootcamp-style program will quickly equip you with highly in-demand web development skills — including programming languages, tools, and technologies — to succeed in front-end, back-end, and full-stack development. You’ll be immersed in a 100-hour online development environment over an intensive five-week timeframe and led by software engineering industry experts and instructors.
Advanced Software Engineering Micro-Credential Career Track
This micro-credential career track introduces fundamental programming concepts including web technology, data structures and databases, and application designs. You’ll be immersed in a 100-hour online development environment over an intensive six and half-week timeframe and led by software engineering industry experts and instructors. To succeed in this bootcamp-style program, you should be familiar with the basic concepts of front-end development or have completed a micro-credential training in web development.
Art
We’re currently offering the following classes: Acrylic Painting for Beginners, Color Pencils for Beginners, and Intermediate Drawing. The acrylic painting and color pencils courses are an introductory workshop intended to teach you the basic uses of each medium. Intermediate Drawing continues the introduction of accurate drawing and rendering three-dimensional forms on a two-dimensional surface.
Adolescent/Pre-Teen Swim
We’re currently offering beginner, intermediate, and advanced level classes for children ages 7-14. Our goals for the beginner class are to build confidence and make the pool a fun environment. Students in the intermediate class will learn breathing technique, breaststroke, and more. The advanced class is designed to teach children who are comfortable in the water advanced skills such as front crawl, back crawl, breathing techniques, and more.
Adult Swim
We’re currently offering beginner and intermediate level classes for adults. The Adult Beginner class is designed for participants who have very little or no swimming experience and may be uncomfortable in the water. The course will provide instruction in basic water skills. The Adult Intermediate Swim class is for swimmers who can comfortably swim 25 yards (1 lap) unassisted in any stroke to learn advanced techniques.
Aqua Aerobics
This class focuses on muscular conditioning and cardio using flotation devices and the natural resistance of the water for heart health and stamina! It is open to swimmers and non-swimmers of all levels.
Ballroom/Jazz Dance Class
Learn dance moves that will give you the confidence to dance! This class introduces social ballroom dancing, smooth dances, and latin dances. All levels of dancers are welcome, from beginner to advanced. Partners are not required.
Community Swimming
This community swimming course is a supervised recreational swimming program for all level swimmers to enjoy! Children under 15 must be accompanied in the pool by an adult and ages 15-18 must have adult supervision.
Competitive Swim Instruction

Open to children ages 10-14, this course covers the 4 basic competitive strokes (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle), as well as rescue stroke, flip turns, and diving. We refine the swimmer’s technique to increase efficiency, speed, endurance, and comfort in the water.

Creative Writing
If you always wanted to write a story or describe a special moment in your life, this class is for you! By using your own personal experiences, you’ll learn how dialogue, details, and a particular setting and time can make your stories come alive.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Whether you’re brand new to the world of English or looking to advance your skills, our six levels of courses — including our unique Port of Entry (POE) program for international students (F1 visa holders) and new immigrants — will meet you where you are and take you where you want to go.
Knitting for Beginners
In this course, you’ll develop and practice the necessary vocabulary and skills to complete a simple hand-knitted project. Learn how to cast on stitches, work the garter stitch, bind off stitches, and gain basic sewing skills. You’ll have the freedom to follow a sample or use your creativity and imagination to develop your own unique project.
Parent and Child Swim
This class aims to make the water a comfortable and fun place for children ages 3-6. You can expect a lot of fun, music, and splashing! We focus on basic floating, kicking, safe pool entry/exit, and aquatic safety. Guardians are required to be in the water with their child.
Tai Chi
We’re currently offering Tai Chi Basic, Tai Chi Basic II, and Tai Chi – Early Lunch Break. Tai Chi is a versatile exercise you can do for healing purposes, maintaining health, and self-defense. Tai Chi II is an extension of the exercises taught in our basic course. Our Early Lunch Break class is open for you to join during a midday break. Spend one hour for a healthier, happier you!
Yoga
We’re currently offering multiple styles of yoga that focus on various parts of the body. From abdominal toning and digestive balance to all levels classes and guided chair yoga, there is something for everyone.
